Ms. Jean Wang has been practising law in China for over 10 years. She joined Wilkinson & Grist (Beijing) Intellectual Property Agency Limited in 2008.

Jean’s main practice area is enforcement and licensing of intellectual property rights, but having previously worked in a general law practice for 6 years, her legal experience is much more wide-ranging.

Jean has a comprehensive range of IPR enforcement experience, covering administrative raid actions, litigation at courts, customs measures at borders and domain name disputes, involving not just rendering of legal advice, but also formulation of enforcement strategy.

Amongst the many cases Jean has worked for include the following:

1.Representing a world-leading spirits producer in raid actions and court proceedings in enforcing its different trademarks, including 3D trademark

2.Representing a certain party in a court action in Guangdong to successfully prohibit use of , amongst others, a trademark of the infringer even though the trademark is registered, on the ground of unfair competition

3.Representing a world-leading energy company in Shanghai getting a favorable judgment in a trademark and unfair competition case

4.Representing a world-leading acoustics company in winning a defamation case in the Shanghai court
